I'm also rather pleased with today's outfit. I bought this dress at the back end of the summer from ASOS and for some unknown reason didn't wear it- despite ironing it so I could, until today! I have a very special place in my heart for Tea Dresses- easy to wear, flattering for my shape and so easy to dress up or down.
Dress, ASOS
Cardigan, Primark,
Tights, Primark
Scarf, Malaga
After pulling it on this morning, I then put my contact lenses in and realised two things. 1. This dress is actually semi pornographic and requires a camisole underneath. 2. I did not have time to put said camisole on. Consequently the scarf stayed on all day- not altogether unusual and to be honest it's pretty damn cold right now so not a biggie.
On the subject of easy to dress up and down, I was invited out for dinner this evening with a group of French students and another friend of mine, joy of all holy joys I didn't need to change! I did add this necklace to try and draw away from my the boobs a bit though
Necklace, local shop
Today should have been really rubbish, with a few other things going on, the sheer volume of work to do and trying to get the dexterity between languages bang on so I don't sound like an idiot three times over. But lunch with my friend made my day at least a hundred times better- she always makes me smile, even when we have serious or less "sunny" conversations. And to add to the positive vibes, a twenty pound note literally blew into my hand on the way home. I did look around to see if anyone was in the vicinity who might have dropped it, but it was just me so I decided it was fate and popped it in my pocket. And dinner this evening will be interesting at the very least.
Anybody had a day that should have been horrible but ended well? Has anyone else got a tea dress fetish? Or maybe someone like me with a green fetish!

Yes to the tea dresses and hell yes to anything green!
Hope you spend the £20 on something lovely. I honestly think it's one of the nicest feelings in the world when you discover money unexpectedly.
Love that necklace!
