Step Count, Step Count...

14 Days until I finish for a three week Easter break, 70 Days and 13 more exams until my degree is officially finished, 81 Days until I leave for my holiday.

Whilst lots of people tell me I'm wishing my life away, by counting down to so much, but I love to see the progression of things, and on days when I'm finding things tough, having a countdown gives me perspective and helps me to remember that nothing lasts forever- the bad as much the good.

I find that fashion can be another great countdown. A month of Fashion Weeks behind, I'm now looking forward to seeing the edits in Vogue and Elle and looking at what's new for the season, and with Press Days flying about and Summer clothes well and truly in the shops, the feeling of optimism and progression is making itself known Chez Fashion Junkie.

And now, the serious stuff done, an outfit for you. Another beautifully sunny day here today, but still not quite warm enough to bare my legs completely.

Black dress, H&M
Grey Jacket, Primark
Leggings, Primark
Racerback Vest (underneath dress), Stradivarius
I bought the dress back in January, with a view to it working well through the spring with leggings or when it's warmer bare legs. I'm also just as much in love with jersey blazers this spring as I was when in warmer climates last year. An easy way to add shape to something and a great cover up on spring days that are still a bit too cool for just a cardigan.
Hope you're all enjoying this nice turn in the weather and enjoying a change in wardrobe as the seasons turn. Anybody else on a countdown?

I also had another nice little pick me up from The Guy today. Another reminder that it really is the little things, as this put the biggest smile on my face.

And it really is extraordinarily good tea. I love Apple and Ginger as flavours, something The Guy knows all too well, and when I lived in Germany  I did develop a slight dependency on Apple Tea, the final bag of which I used last week. A perfect and very sweet little package.

In a world where kindness and consideration do not seem to be fashionable, I know I'm very lucky to experience "the little things" which make my day, and put a smile on my face.
