Meet Mika |
The family function we were attending was my great Aunt and Uncle's golden wedding anniversary- a gathering in their garden complete with Thai buffet and assorted tents for cover, but we were suitably grateful that the weather was warm and dry. I got to show off my tan a touch further with my new favourite dress.
Dress, closing down sale in Bangor Lightweight Jersey Blazer, ASOS Sandals (not seen), Primark Braclet, Primark |
The jacket has been another wardrobe star. It's from ASOS from winter 09, and is more of a jersey cardigan type weight, but because it's cut as a blazer with the lapels, it's great for a slightly smarter alternative.
So that's me back for a while now. Having turned myself around after my holiday, done the relative thing at the weekend, and turned that around today, my parents are off away for a while tomorrow. I'm going to be based at home until I can find a more permanent job, and I have a few different things bubbling away on that front at the moment, but I'm currently working in quite a niche area of recruitment. I'm interested to hear from anybody else who has moved back to their family home having just finished a degree and how you're finding it? I'm going to be doing a bit of a post about it soon, and I'm interested to hear all sorts of perspectives on it. If you would rather, do e-mail instead of commenting- chloe.martinbrown@gmail.com
And a big hello to all EIGHTY of you old or new followers at Chloe Likes To Talk. Happy Reading.
