Life's Gone Cold

Grey dress/tunic thing, ASOS
Lightweight jersey blazer, ASOS
Leggings, Primark
Scarf, Odd Socks Alex
Bag, Christmas Gift from TG via ASOS

I've had this grey printed dress, which is now a bit to short to be a dress, certainly not to be worn without leggings these days, for over a year, and I still love it just as much. It's a simple solution for work, home, uni, pretty much anything, and even better, I wear it both back to front and the right way round. To explain, I never really worked out which whether it has a V back or V neck, the label is tiny, and it works just as well either way, so depending on how I feel of a morning, depends how I wear it.

I'm yet to go a day without my scarf which Alex made for me, and it's the only thing even close to cosy enough for the freezing weather today. Topped off with my awesome bag that's actually big enough for two Tort Law casebooks and my notes- essay writing ahoy, and my indestructible boots.

Boots, Steve Madden

This weekend will mostly be spent drinking tea, writing essays and trying to avoid going outside too much. It's super cold, and I'm still trying to kick a chest infection. I decided last night that I would go running today, illness be damned. And so I did, and I also learned the error of my ways.

Have a nice weekend all. PLEASE tell me it's marginally more exciting than mine?

That bag is gorgeous! I love a big bag to carry lots round in :) I've not been well recently too so my only plans for today are slouching in front of the tv and catching up on some blog reading! x

I hope you're feeling better, enjoy your lazy day. I'm just taking a break from the essay writing!

Your blog is so cool. I really like the way you styled it too with the tights and the sweater. You look really cute and I know what you mean about the scarfs. They are so necessary in the winter, even here in San Francisco.

Wahoo!  It pleases me greatly to know that the scarf is so well treasured and to see you looking so lovely in it.

I've got proper bag envy going on now though.  That is an absolute stunner!

It's pretty much 0 degrees C here, so damned cold, but I guess even California gets 'winter weather'!

Separating me and the scarf is going to be a major issue at some time in the (marginally) warmer future! As for the bag, I posted and TG listened, and purchased. It's amazing, and big enough to get my laptop in it too.

the bag! is it leather? it looks gorgeous and soft. x

It isn't, but it's quite a good imitation and it is quite good and soft, although it has a Dr's Frame opening to it so it keeps its shape.

It's helped no end, and thank you- they're my fave indestructible ones!

Thank you queridita. I can assure you that I look horrendous today- peeling skin on my nose from my cold, odd posture due to stiff back and burnt hand from a fight with the grill. YUM!

Thank you. It's an old favourite.

Ooh v cute bag!  Definitely don't go running when ill tho, I need an inhaler at the best of times so can imagine a chest infection would make it even more torturous! :)

Thank you, I'm pretty much attached to the bag at the moment, largely because I need to take my laptop to work, and this bag fits it and all my other junk!

I did learn the error of my ways when it comes to running with a chest infection, and haven't been out again since, but I'm back on form and back on it this weekend!
