Nailing It

Sundays, for me, have become the sacred day of painting my nails, it's the only day I seem to have enough time to do it, and even then I don't always do a very good job. Rather pleased with the effect created with these, it reminds me of the 'Glalaxy' thing everyone seemed to be doing for a while, except this is just a coat of (George at Asda) Black with a coat of (Nails Inc 3D Glitter Effect) Sloane Square over the top. The latter is a gift from T- he knows my fetish for glitter a bit too well.... and it's pretty miraculous, I'll be honest. One coat is sufficient, it dries quickly and it's oh so pretty.

Aside painting my nails, I'm actually braving the ice outside as I'm meeting a friend to go over our case for the mooting competition we're doing on Thursday. For those unfamiliar, mooting is something law students do, basically we get a pretend case with pretend clients and we pretend to be barristers and argue the case in pretend court. It's actually really good fun as Lauren and I found in the first round, and mooting is largely considered a mandatory extra on your CV especially if you have hopes of getting a pupilage and becoming a barrister (I don't, but it still makes me look good!).

In other news, this post was originally going to be all about my non blonde hair. I ventured into the world of dying my own this week, hoping to be brunette at the end. Although nothing went especially wrong, it didn't turn out as dark as I hoped, and consequently, I'm not sure my hair would actually look any different on a photo. Slightly disappointing, but next time I'll know I need a couple of shades darker.

Happy Weekend all of you, and there seem to be ummmm.... a fair few of you? I appear to be creeping toward the 200 follower mark, which is ever so slightly frightening... 195 people are actually interested in what I ramble about?!
