Where There's Tea

I know there's a special blog lady who can finish this sentence particularly well.

Where there's tea, there's hope.

Having been an avid coffee drinker for a few years now and pre-coffee addiction I never really drank hot drinks much, I feel I now fully appreciate the art of a decent cup of tea... whatever tea that may be. But next on my list of 'to try' is loose leaf tea. And lucky for us all, Twinnings sent me this rather lovely info earlier this week.

Loose tea

Has anyone ever tried loose leaf tea or the above? I'd love to try some gunpowder green and mint... how COOL does it sound?!

We have a few different loose teas [we even have Yorkshire Tea loose] and it nice playing with them all - although you have to be really careful with your timings when it comes to loose tea. I find them a lot more delicate and refreshing then your normal cuppa. I love oolong and white tea the nicest.

I love loose leaf tea! I have a cute little teapot shaped holder so you can brew it in a mug. Jasmine green tea is my favourite.

I am scared of loose leaf tea at home.  In fact, I hardly ever even drink normal tea but this is because I have to have it with soya milk and soya milk tastes like gack.

So I go to Leaf (amazing tea bar in Liverpool) and they do the hard work for me.  They have the most delicious range of teas on the menu.

Delicate sounds good, I shall have to source some and have a go. It kind of fascinates me with the rituals...

You just reminded me of my grandfather who used to have an individual strainer for his tea- I don't have many memories of him as he died when I was 3, but this one is so strong.

Jasmine sounds good, I love Jasmine so it might be a nice place to start.
