Bargain Basement

You might have noticed that I'm addicted to green. Green has been my favourite colour since I was a kid and green clothing is something I've started to own more and more of. And when I saw these shoes, I knew they were meant for me.

Asda, £1.50
And the other reason I couldn't leave them behind, the price tag. No I did not make a typo, they were reduced in the sale to a mere £1.50.

I actually bought them at Christmas, so I have no idea if they're still available, I suspect not. But this is another instance of my putting things away for later. I wanted to keep them for the spring summer, so that they weren't necessarily being worn by so many people, and also because I had some shoes I'd been wearing through the first bit of the winter that I wanted to wear out, and then start with some others as the new season started to come in.

Does anybody else do this, or is it just me?

Ah, a girl after my own heart. Not just a lover of green but an out of season shopper. My single best buy of 2010 was a winter coat that I bought at a car boot sale in July. As long as you've got room to stash things, I think it's daft not to take advantage of bargain prices, regardless of whether it's a few months till you can actually wear what you've bought.
